Anyone
associated with Army Aviation has at one
time found themselves sitting with a
group of friends, when the guy (or gal)
sitting next to you softly clears their
throat, gazes upwards towards the
heavens, and then begins to recant a well
practiced story that always starts out
with, "There I Was... ".
To carry on this time-honored tradition,
we thought nothing would be more
appropriate then to provide a gathering
place on our web site for these tales of
heroics (and humility) by the people who
were really there!
Do you have an Army Aviation related
story or humorous anecdote that will fill
our readers' hearts with admiration, put
a lump in their throats, or make them
laugh so hard they fall out of their
