Reflections of War

War, out of necessity, has helped shape Army Aviation into the force that it is today. World War II saw the birth of modern Army Aviation and the development of its own assets to support ground operations. The Korean War gave this drive impetus, and the war in Vietnam saw its fruition.

To this effect, we present Reflections of War - a growing collection of articles, stories and photographs that reflects back on the developments, challenges and achievements of Army Aviation in the face of the enemy.

We dedicate this site to those who served, the machines they flew, and especially to those who remained behind.

Above the Best!
